"The Carn Dearg Youth Hostel is a remote, oceanfront place to stay when you want to relax and have some peace and quiet. Perhaps the only way to get there is by car and definitely the only way to get to the local town is by car as Carn Dearg hostel sits alone on the ocean road wrapping around the bottom side of the peninsula. It is an old hunting lodge that was donated to be a youth hostel around fifty years ago.
