Lisbon is great. There is a ton to do. Wander around the old Expo grounds, wander the Hills, and windy street of the Alfama. For some beach time take the 20 min train to Cascais, or Estoril. Go to Sintra and see the Castle. Be warned that if you look under 30 and are walking around the main area of Lisbon you will likely be pestered by drug dealers, just say no and ignore them. Much of Lisbon is kind of sketchy. although safe during the day it is recommended that you stay on well lit and unisolated streets at night. Also options for eating or having a coffee start becoming limited after 10pm. Try eating at Restaurante Tripeiro at 70 Rua dos Correiros in the Baixa. Great food for decent prices. — Anonymous
