Some dorm rooms have an en-suite available. The pillows and mattresses were a little worn and thin but the rooms were very clean. Standard travel advice,...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "This is a busy hostel, being a 10 minute walk from the central train and bus station (hostel is marked on the street map directly outside the station). It would definitely pay to book!
It has a friendly atmosphere, with free coffee or chocolate to drink while reading all the helpful information in reception. Comfortable warm rooms, with decent free lockers (bring a padlock) and free...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "Located a comfortable fifteen-minute walk south of the the city centre, and only five minutes from the university, Paddy's Palace Belfast is well located for visiting the city. One of the growing Paddy's Palace chain, a good proportion of the guests at any one time are part of a Paddywagon tour, ensuring that the hostel is always lively.
Whilst the location makes the hostel reasonably easy...![]() "Lagan Backpackers is the perfect place to explore and enjoy everything that Belfast has to offer. We have recently expanded into this new and spacious building as we have had great success with our sister hostel, Lagan Hostel.

Our high ratings are mostly due to the great attention and recommendations that you can expect from both myself and my staff.
My idea for a great hostel is very simple: to make you feel at home. To give you a comfortable bed... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "One of the best hostels around - Vagabonds is literally one of the best hostels around. The staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. It has a family atmosphere with a great kitchen, dining room, and lounge. It is also very clean (a nice change compared with most of the hostels in Belfast). Having stayed in hostels all over Europe, I would highly recommend this hostel."...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "I dont usually bother to do this sort of thing, but there were two hostels in Europe that I found on my adventures and that really impressed me, and this was one of them. Arnies was small but lovely and homely and made me feel less lonely and "all citied out" on my travels. The dogs were a great touch, and Arnie's information and assistance was most helpful. Apart from the black taxi tour,...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "Ark Hostel has a good reputation among travelers. Along the way we met several people who had stayed there and they all had good things to say. We would have to agree.
Located in the university district, very close to Botanic Station (about five minutes on foot), the hostel is only a leisurely fifteen-minute walk into the centre of Belfast. Facilities include a well-stocked kitchen, a large...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "The rooms were tiny and the bathrooms a bit cramped, but the atmosphere can't be beat. Arnie is jolly and friendly, his dogs are adorable, and the guests were all open and social. Make sure not to miss the black cab tour! This was my favorite hostel of a month-long Europe-wide trek, hands down."
"What I liked most about this hostel was his atmosphere, very friendly. You're considered...
