"We came for a few nights, stayed for more than a week and cried when we left. I have never been made to feel more welcome -- it was like staying with family. The food was excellent (and huge quantities), great value for money, and Maria will prepare whatever you ask if she has the ingredients. They have a beautiful beach behind the hostel, a pet monkey who is well loved, hammocks and library to enable you to just hang out.
