"I thought this hostel was brilliant. The staff were really friendly. The cozy fire and comfy armchairs were a welcome retreat on the two rainy days I was there, and the rooms were spacious. They have four-bed dorms with decent beds. And the showers were big enough for you to shower and dress in safety!! Not to mention the free breakfast in the winter. "This hostel is just great. If you want to have a nice stay in Nelson, in a very, very, very nice home and with very, very, very cool staff, this is the place to be!!! "Best In Nelson - Great Hostel. Newly refurbished, happy dog, knowledgeable manager, clean beds. I like the randomness of the place. "Almond House Backpackers is a lovely hostel that feels like home. The owners are very warm, friendly, and helpful, and their children are such darlings.
