Milford Sound Lodge  "The Milford Sound Lodge is the only budget accommodation within Fiordlands National Park where the head of the Milford Sound is located, thus they have a monopoly of sorts. The lodge itself is an older building located about a kilometer away from the village where the waterside boardwalk and café are located and where most of the buses stop. Most bus companies will drop you off at the lodge and the lodge has shuttles that accommodate you and your luggage back to town for your trip back out... Milford Wanderer Boat "An overnight cruise on board the Milford Wanderer is a unique adventure. With our nature guide and friendly crew, you will cruise the full length of Milford Sound. Keep a lookout for wildlife, especially fur seals basking on the rocks. There is plenty of time available for you to go exploring in the kayaks and tender craft.
