   "This place is great and a newer hostel. It is also very easily missed. It is located in downtown in Hokitika above a café and next to a jewelry store, three blocks from the beach and easily missed if you’re not looking for it.
The facilities are clean and this may sound weird, but our first impression coming up the stairs was that this place smelled good -- not the stale gym sock... "This is a nice hostel and the owner is really helpful. However it is a bit out of the town centre if you don't have a car, although it is within walking distance to the glow-worms. There is a good atmosphere to it although more bathrooms are needed and the kitchen can be a bit of a squeeze if a few people are cooking at the one time. It has good soundproofing.
