Neptunes Backpacker hostel is located on the outskirts of Greymouth next to the main road. The owners can pick you up from the train station if you arrive on the TransAlpine train. Otherwise the Magic Bus stop is at the door of the hostel. Greymouth is a gloomy little town -- it has all you can expect, but...(West Coast) "Historic Revingtons Hotel is centrally located in the main Greymouth Shopping and Business centre. Revingtons is a gracious old building which boasts a good deal of history, having been a focal point of Greymouth since 1876. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip stayed at Revingtons during the Coronation Tour of 1954.
