"Complexo Alemanha/Vilanculos Backpackers has cute little buildings that make up the double rooms. It is situated on the hill overlooking the beach area of Vilanculos. It was totally destroyed in a cyclone in 2007, so the whole complex is fairly new.
It is in the central part of Vilanculos, and there is a big sign on the main road, so its easy to find. The neigbourhood seems ok, but you'd rather not take chances in walking at night or with a lot of valuables.
