Tangier Travel Tips & Suggestions

When I got off the ferry, a kind gentleman greeted me and asked if I wanted a tour and said he was from the office of travel. I said, "cool!" And cool it was. He took me all over the city on a walking tour. He knew every single thing about that beautiful city. I loved Tangier and the olive oil and the lunches -- and the party on the beach until 5 a.m. I would recommend Tangier to travelers. — sable

Once you get there, run to your hostel then breathe! Find a cheap guide -- we paid 10 euros for the whole day and he took us for tea with his family! Don't buy anything in Tangier, by the way. Wait until another town. — katie
