"Rakshita's is part of the group of camping grounds/cabins/hammock spots in El Panchan, located about two kilometers from the ruins in Palenque. The atmosphere is amazing and the area beautiful. To get there, take a collectivo before six outside of the bus station (or from the ruins) and ask to be left off at El Panchan. After six a cab is your only option.

"Maya Bell is set in the jungle, which makes for a really wonderful romantic setting. However, because it is more or less just a campground, lighting is poor, bathrooms dirty, and nature is abundant. To get there take a collective before six and ask to be dropped off at Maya Bell. After six, a cab is your only option.
