"In Campeche, Monkey Hostel seems to be the happening place to be. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and while not perfect or sparkeling clean, it's more or less clean (in a sanitary sense). The staff are friendly, welcoming, and accommodating 24 hours a day. Someone connected with the hostel has a mango tree, so unlimited mangos are at your disposal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The private rooms get a bit hot, but they do have nice balconies. The bathrooms are clean and have...
"Hostel La Poarroquia is a brand new hostel, but as a result is quite sterile also. Breakfast is great (bread, juice, coffee, fruit) and is served in the restaurant attached (at street level). Campeche Travel Tips & Suggestions

Campeche... We are so lucky that we stumbled upon this hidden pot of gold. The walled city is something that should not be missed. This quaint town has a colonial feeling with clean streets, bright colored buildings, a gorgeous town square, art and music. We all agreed this was one of the top highlights of our trip. Can't wait to go back!
