Nagasaki Hostels

"Nagasaki International Hostel AKARI is a fine hostel, run by a very friendly English-speaking couple in a great location. The Location It is very easy to find, only a couple stops on the tram from the train station and a few blocks walk from the tram stop. Their directions led us right to it. "Asian travellers beware - This hostel is a great place to experience discrimination! While Caucasian guests are treated nicely (I think that's why it is described as "friendly" and "years of helping travelers" in the guidebooks), Asian travelers (especially from developing countries) are treated like trash! This is the first hostel I've ever known that the fee you pay is for between check-in and check-out time only!
