Montagnana Travel Tips & Suggestions

My husband Kev and I visited Montagnana five years ago -- love it!
Comment by DAVIDE SANTI, 28old, ITALY
I spent there a few hours on a work trip. I would have loved and dreamed to like it more, but my expectations didn't come true. Other places in Italy are more charming even if they are not walled towns. At least the walls have not been restored much and preserves a true ancient outlook.

Montagnano is like a magical fairy tale medieval walled town. I stayed in an ancient castle that is now a hostel. Every day the town would shut down for siesta, giving me ample time to have the whole town to myself to explore. It is truly a magical place!
