"80% - On the positive side, the location was very good (close to central station and very easy to find), the staff was nice and spoke English well. What I did not like that much: the entry to the hostel was rather complicated (ok, but manageable -- just 2 gates + 1 door), the number of bathrooms (just 2 -- so there was some queue building up in the evening), and I did not sleep well. "Central Hostel Pisa is just what a backpacker needs to regain energies for continuing the journey. It boasts an easy location, sufficient facilities, and mostly new appearance (although you see that the building is not new). "Central and clean hostel - giovanni picked us up from the airport and made us feel really welcome! you get keys for the house as well as for the room. the bathroom was clean. there's a fridge in the kitchen but no possibility for cooking which isn't worse 'cause cafes and restaurants are not expensive if you go and have a look around! in the night there may be some noise cause of the crowds of people outside at piazza garibaldi, but if you like going out, that's the right place to be! thanks a lot for the nice week!" … "…...  more »

"… between the train station and the airport 2 min walk from the station and 12 min from the airport free wifi , the leaning tower can be reached in 15 min walk I we also have free wi-fi and netbooks in every room. Free linen and kitchen that you can use to cook your food , , tea maker and tea free . "Caution about Booking Here: Poor upkeep, excessive stairs, theft. - May of this year 5 of us stayed in this Hostel. We have stayed at many hostels in Europe, but have never encountered a staff that did not communicate with us, a room that had water stains all over the ceilings, moulding that literally feel off the doors when shut, beds that smelled musty, 3 flights of stairs, and people who failed to return a journal and several other personal items of value that were left in the room. "Bedbugs - This hostel is neither clean nor secure. You do get lockers, but no key to the room! In fact, they keep the key in the front door at night, so anyone could get in. I only stayed upon arrival because everything in the area was booked. I also woke up with a ton of bites. I suspect they are from the beds. Ick. No toilet paper in the bathroom either. "For one night is ok, for two or more nights it could be not so cool - i met there nice students that live there. they have their own rooms. but visitors pay 15 € for a night, and they dont receive so good treatment for these money. The toilets for example are not very clean, the rooms are very small and with 6 beds, all furniture is very old, and most of them broken.
