"La Primula Menaggio Youth Hostel Lake Como is a fantastic hostel with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere; it is suitable for both families and a younger crowd. The hostel is managed and run by former guests and volunteers working for free board and food -- this gives it a unique atmosphere. The staff vary from incredibly helpful and friendly to disorganised and verging on rude, but they’ll still join you for a drink in the bar in the evening.
