Sive Hostel  "If you're biking the Ring of Kerry and leave from Killarney, this is a great stopping place. The hostel has a sign on the east edge of town, and it is a very welcome sight (especially if your bike trip has been blessed with as much rain as mine was). Cahersiveen is basically a one-street town, and the Sive Hostel is on your right on the eastern edge. It's not a large hostel, so the friendly faces become familiar pretty quickly. Cahersiveen Travel Tips & Suggestions Comment by Anonymous Cahersiveen is a fantastic Place, the only draw back is that the only good resturant is in Renard, 10 minute walk from the town. Comment by Anonymous I was in Cahersiveen the past August with a 50 students group from Spain. It's a beautiful town, especially the harbour and Valentia Island. Comment by Anonymous Cahersiveen is a town about half way around the "Ring of Kerry", a beautiful and very scenic drive at the foot of Benetee mountain, on the river Fertha overlooking Valentia Harbour.
