 "A curious wee hostel, centrally located in the small fishing town of Hofn. Potentially a handy location if circling the island, but marjorly let down by the fact it has permanent residents who have taken over the very limited facilities.  Vagnsstaðir is in the Suðursveit area, about 50 km west of Höfn and 28 km east of Jökulsárlón. The house is in an attractive area surrounded by a beautiful ring of mountains. Attractive hiking paths invite one into the surrounding area, using a hiking map, you get at the Hostel.
