"Hababusch Hostel is run by students who live in the building. The building dates from the 18th century and it certainly shows, but it feels as though it dates from East German times rather than the 1700s.
It is easy to get to - walk down the hill from the station. And it is ridiculously cheap (only 10/night). There is a 10 key deposit, and it can be difficult to awaken somebody to get your money back if you are checking out before 11am.

"Nice hostel. It was quite clean and pillowcases were even included in the bedsheets! We had a three-bed room for just the two of us, but the rooms was rather small so we ended up putting our suitcase on the unused bed. Our room had a table and sink, which was nice and cosy. Our room had windows covering two nearly all of two of walls.
