 Lauenburg is a charming old river port on the upper reaches of the Elbe. In the narrow winding streets of the historic lower town you?ll find many beautiful half-timbered houses, dating back to 16 to 19 c, as well as the ?Palmschleuse?, Europe?s oldest canal lock.
Bus: By coach or car: from Hamburg take A25, then B5, from south B209 via Lüneburg, from Berlin A24, exit Hornbek or Talkau.
Rail: Train to Lauenburg train station, then local bus or 25 min walk through the historic centre...
