Although it's been three years since I last enjoyed a meal there, I've been to their restaurant many times over the previous fifteen years. It is a particular nice place for a stroll and meal in the Spring and Fall. Food, service and price point are just fine and is impressive for a special evening with a view. From the tower there is a great panorama of a pastoral Germany valleys and villages. I have never spent the night or hiked there however, I would think that both would be pleasant to do.

I used to live in Thallichtenberg in the early 80s. It's an awesome town. I lived below the castle, and on Sunday I'd sit out front and listen to the town band practice, I loved it.
