Löhne Hostels

Löhne is a small town in Germany, close to Herford and Minden. Löhne is not really a very exciting place, but there are a few interesting sights in and around the town and people interested in history and visiting not-so-orthodox places will like Löhne. Visit the Heritage Museum, the Mill Museum Kemena, the Water Tower Ulenburg, the Rürup Mill, and the park Aqua Magica. The Water Tower Ulenburg is situated at the end of the Ulenburg Alley in a very picturesque environment. The Rürup Mill and the Mill Museum Kemena will show how mills used to operate back in the seventeenth and eighteenth century. And the park is very interesting for children.

It is not a big surprise that hostels in Löhne are not numerous, but there still are some, which is not very common for towns of that size. The prices are moderate. There is a good chance that your Löhne hostel will not be in the very center of the town. Do not worry about that –- there is good public transportation and you will be able to reach your Löhne hostel without any problems unless you try to do that at night. In this case, you need either to walk or take a taxi. The latter might be expensive.

Löhne is not a place to find parties and nightlife. The best you can get is a local pub where you can drink local beer, but if you are after clubs and discos, you should choose another destination.
