 "I only stayed here one night while a Joe Cocker concert was going on in a field some 100 metres away. They were nearly booked up, but the nice lady who ran the hostel at the time made sure that my mom and I had a place to say. The hostel is located some distance from the train station, but the walk through town was pleasant and the hostel is located in a residential area that would be quiet (if Joe Cocker hadn't been having a concert). One interesting thing about Singen is that it is home to that sauce that many Germans put on everything known as Maggi. Everywhere you are reminded of Maggi.
