"WOW! What a friendly atmosphere! I love the stairs! The owner is very nice and down to earth. There were some problems with my arrival and she was patient and kind through our whole stay. I would recommend this place to all my friends and will try to stay again next season. It's very clean; the shower is nice and hot, and the whole feel of the place is beyond explanation. The town of Nancoix is tiny and beautiful. Getting there is just a little tricky, so be ready to ski to the bus stop...

"This hostel is fantastic! Four meals a day - huge packed lunch, and warm tea waiting for you when you're off the slopes! Extremely friendly staff, taking you to the village and bringing you back! Lovely warm rooms with ensuite!" … "I stayed here in January 2005. Les Arcs Travel Tips & Suggestions

Comment by C White
Les Arcs is part of Paradiski which is one of the largest and best ski resorts in the world. Ski lifts are open winter and summer. We live in Nancroix, which is part of Les Arcs and right on the edge of the Vanoise national park and we love it. There is lots to do for outdoor people -- ski, snowboard, mountain bike (downhill and cross country), white water rafting, via ferrata, walking, paragliding.
