     "This hostel is part of the stadium built for the Helsinikii Olympic games in 1952. The hostel itself is pretty uninspiring as the colouring and surroundings are grey and concrete. The atmosphere is not exactly "cold," but certainly not what one would call fun or friendly. The staff are polite enough, and will answer any questions, but rarely offer information or seem interested in a... "Great! Excellent! Superb! Brilliant! The best!" … "It is really close to everything. It is clean but not that much fun. It is still a great and relaxing place to stay." … "Good location. The dorms are a bit too big and not cosy at all. There's only one shower for the entire hostel. It is expensive, but hey, it's Helsinki. Indeed, not much fun. Travellers are of all ages--it isn't... "Eurohostel is a large institutional hostel attracting backpackers, families and tour coaches. It's located on the Katajanokka peninsula, only minutes walk away from the Viking Line ferry terminal. It is also a short walk to the main shopping street Alesksanterinkatu, along with Market Square and Senate Square. With luggage it can be a little difficult to get there but the Mastokatu (line 2)... "This hostel is about a twenty minute walk west of the train station, but is quite easy to find with the help of the map. Although it looks like a big tenement block from the outside it is quite comfortable on the inside. The building is used as student accommodation during the winter months so it is quite well kept but not to the modern standards of some other hostels.

Suomenlinna(the Island Fortress of Helsinki) is historical place wich is included in UNESCO's world heritage protection program. The oldes buildings here are built in 1750's. We think that the owner has done a great job at keeping a peace of history alive. It would be a shame to change it. I think that it is good to have a real place of history to enjoy. We love the staff and look forward to staying there every time we come. If I wanted to stay in a place of the future I could have, but we chose Mekka. Thanks... "Hostel Erottajanpuisto is located on Uudenmankatu street, which is very close to the central train station, and just past the Stockman department store. It's remarkably cosy place, which is unusual for an HI affiliated hostel.
The dorms have six or eight beds each, and they're comfortable and large. Unlike the dorms, the showers are a little cramped. The showers are small enclosures that...The family-oriented and modern Summer Hostel Karavaani is situated in connection to Rastila camping site in maritime Vuosaari and only a short metro trip away from the Helsinki city centre. The customers of the Summer Hostel have all the services of the camping site also in their use, such as saunas, equipment rental, restaurant, laundry, barbecue places and beach. … Bus: 0km
