The Nightingale Lodge hostel is fairly close to the city center and easy to find. From Lime Street station, head south down Lime Street to the Y-intersection at Leece and Berry. Bear left on Leece and continue straight to Catharine Street. Turn right and it will take you to the intersection of Upper Parliament Street and Princes Road. The hostel is across the street on the east... (Toxteth)   "The Embassie Independent Hostel is a grand, old building just out of town and located opposite a nice, small park. It is a big hostel but it still retains a friendly atmosphere, as most likely as soon as you get in the door you will be shown a seat and given a with a cup of tea!
As there are no keys for this hostel, you have to ring the doorbell each time you go out and then wait for the...(Merseyside)  "really it is very nice hostel, the staff are very friendly -- they will help you for what you need. the food is good, especially the english breakfast. I stayed three nights and I met guys from different countries. the location of the hostel is perfect, neat. the tourist attractions from the coach station it cost me 5 pounds to get there. finally i think it is the best hostel in Liverpool."... "It's a really nice place because its close to the Anfield road and the Stanley park. the rooms are really clean and the staff are really helpful. its also close to the city center, where pretty much of all major attractions are located. Hostel Dorms furnished with double & Single bunk beds, linen provided, towels on request. Dorms have Washer, Dryer, Fridge Freezer, Kettle, Toaster, Iron & Board, Cooker. Shower & Bath, Cooking facilities, Microwave. - Free Wifi,... "I found the "service" to be amazing and I had to return a month later when again I had "nowhere" else to "sleep."" … "DO NOT stay here!!! This YMCA also doubles as a brothel (trust me), as we so unfortunately found out when we stayed there.
