Penzance Hostels

"Really nice place to stay - The hostel is on the YMCA site and has free parking in their own car park which in Penzance is a real rarity, the car park is also covered by cctv which meant I could leave the surfboards in my van without worrying. The reception is manned 24/7 and so need to worry what time you get in but you do have to ring the bell if you are very late. Breakfast is basic but in with the price, they have free Wi-Fi which is a real bonus but you can also pay for some time on a computer at quite a reasonable rate they also have...  more »

"Overall, great -- I would stay here again - The hostel is a twenty-five-minute walk from the train station, and is initially uphill. The hostel is very clean and has a lot of character. Staff are friendly. It is best to use the self-catering kitchen, as the breakfast is expensive. Evening meals are also offered, but they too are expensive. "This is one of the coziest hostels I've been to! Friendly staff, nice community and communal area, excellent location, clean and en suite dorms, and relaxed atmosphere. Anything a backpacker's heart would desire!" … "It provides a very cozy environment. Helpful staff member and quiet environment. Good value for the money. Highly recommend all budget travelers to stay here if you plan to visit Penzance.
