   "The excellent, friendly service starts just after booking at Chester Backpackers Hostel, this lively backpacker hostel in a typical Chester-style house just a couple of blocks away from the Chester Rows. Not long after your booking has been received, you will get an email welcoming you to the hostel and asking for your approximate arrival time so that a member of staff will be available to meet you.
The friendly and helpful manager, Kath, met us and showed us around instead of simply...(Cheshire)    "Nice but far away - It's a very good hostel, almost like a hotel, great breakfast included and friendly staff. The beds creak a bit but the common room is cool (very English). The only problem is that it's far outside the city centre so backpackers beware -- we almost died on the walk to the hostel!" … "This was our first hostel in England and was a just ok. Not much atmosphere to it and felt fairly unwelcoming. Maybe it was just busy and businesslike. Chester itself was lovely....
