Playa de Los Suecos has a lefthander with a fast take-off followed by a long workable wall. With off-shore winds and size it gets hollow. "Excellent - Caesar (owner) and his wife are awesome! Very friendly and accommodating! The rooms are nice -- dormitory style with five sets of bunks. We arrived on a weds. and on Fri. Caesar and friends cooked for us. We had salad, whole fresh fish, sides, and drink for about a quarter what it would have cost us had we eaten out! "Great vibe and layout - Tranquilo is one of the best hostels anywhere, with a great location, terrific layout, and very good facilities. It is not luxurious but easily lives up to the backpacking standard. The sewage problem is something the whole town deals with, sadly. Tranquilo is a great place to meet people because of the way it's laid out with communal tables, the large kitchen, dozens of hammocks, and free pool and ping-pong. "We had so much fun here. We were here for six nights, and we shared a room with guys from Great Britain, Australia, Argentina and Germany. The beach is great, and the waves, too. We went sleeping with the howler monkeys and stood up with the birds, between a lot of surfing. I want to go there again.
