"Excellent - I have been traveling for 1 year and beach house is by far the best hostel I have stayed at, if you are in the area of Tamarindo pull in there. what a cool place, good facilities including surfboard rentals, ping pong. These people went the extra mile in to ensure I had chillaxed no stress stay. "EVERYONE SHOULD COME HERE!!! - I stayed at La Oveja for one week and had a fantastic time. The owners were really helpful in offering suggestions on what to do and where to go. I was able to book surf lessons right at the reception desk as well as organize a snorkle tour, both are offered by the owners at a great price. The atmosphere was laid back but fun with travelers from all over the world -- most of them were surfers but some were here due to the hostel's close proximity to restaurants, bars and the beach. "Fantastic - I've gotta say, this is probably the best hostel in Tamarindo. There's a reason why its in the Lonely planet guide. Costs 10 dollars a night but I think it's worth it. rooms house at most four people, which is kinda nice. The owners are great, got a nice common area for watching TV or whatever, bunch of soft leathery couches and bean bag chairs. "Loved it! - After staying at another JC and friends hostel, I was delighted to have the opportunity to stay at this hostel in Tamarindo. The woman that works there was incredibly kind and hospitable, and the guard was lovely to talk to outside the hostel. he told us all about the local wildlife, and there were monkeys swinging in the trees less than fifteen feet away, as well as iguanas scampering around.
