"Lovely place - This hostel is located in one of the central streets in Pingyao. It is a beautiful old-style courtyard. I stayed in a double room in the hotel part of the complex. The room was classic, complete with a very big chinese bed stove. The bathroom was quite small, but clean. This hostel is quite cheap in comparison with youth hostels in other parts of China. "PingYao Harmony Backpacker Guesthouse is well located near the South Gate within the city walls, on a road filled with stalls and little restaurants. Harmony 1 and Harmony 2 guesthouse are owned and operated by the same people and situated two doors apart. Both have similar features and décor.
