Fishermen from all over the world are drawn every year to the Stoco Lake for the exciting experience of Muskie fishing. Tournaments every year are held to catch the biggest of these sport fish. The lure of the fish is said to be so strong, that beginner anglers are "hooked" for life. Fishing licenses can be bought in many of the local shops and are very reasonably priced. Hunting in the region is also a common activity and it is recommended to look online for local guides and laws before planning a hunting trip.

Tweed's hostels are located in the center of town within walking distance to the town's amenities. A car is recommended for visitors to explore the regions seemingly endless lakes, rivers and forests. Local hiking trails showcase Ontario's beautiful forests and lakes. If you're lucky, you may even spot a deer grazing a field or a beaver building its dam on one of the rivers. Inspiring artists will be captivated by the nature and the inspiration it brings. Reading on the dock and listening to the call of the Loons is about as relaxing as it gets.
