Fedio, Maria, and Georgi are all very friendly, speak English well, and can provide lots of information about the VT area and elsewhere in Bulgaria. "A spot of heaven - I have only good news on this place, my experience there has been wonderful. In a country where people are usually rude and find honest people is not so easy (most of all if we talk about hostel owners or taxi drivers) I found a spot of heaven: The two owners (a Scottish man and his lovely partner from Wales) have the typical approach and mood of perfect "english" way. "Had a great stay. Kate is a wonderful host - My friend and I stayed with kate at the hostel at the middle of April 2010, and kate made us very welcome. it was like a home from home. I'm sure all who visit will be made as welcome as we were. As a hostel the place is very basic, but you'll want for nothing. It is very clean and cheerful. Although the hostel can't cater beyond tea, coffe and toast,that is not a problem as it is right in the middle of V T and there are plenty of good, cheap eating places. "I liked it very much here. It's more like you're staying in a friend's house than staying in a hostel. The woman who runs the place is really nice and helpful. They also get you from the bus or train station. Breakfast is extraordinarily good and a lot for the price, and everything's clean and nice.
