Bruges Hostels

"This is one of the best places I've ever been. The city is lovely, as well as the hostel itself. It is built inside a stone building, with maze-like stairs connecting the base and the first floor. The receptionists and people working in the bar are pretty cool. The bar itself has more than 20 different types of Belgian beer. The accommodation is really cheap, 11 euros for a twelve-bed room, 12 euros for a six-bed room. The rooms are clean and big. The only problem is with the showers. "Woderfully welcoming, I was greeted with a good beer and better people - The Lybeer is a really great hostel. It was the fourth hostel I had stayed in and it was by far the best! All of the staff is really nice, helpful, speak great English, and several speak multiple languages. The owners also opened a restaurant that's not particularly close to the hostel, but we made the walk (fifteen minutes or so) and it was well worth it. "We stayed here in April for the Tour of Flanders and really enjoyed the Passage. The location was great, right off the main shopping street. The rooms were clean and a good size. "Good price - The rooms are good, bathroom facilities quite standard, free internet a definite plus! Not much happening, but this was october. "'t Keizershof is really nice. The host family, which owns the hostel and lives in it, is very friendly and helpful. This hostel is very charming and the owners are delightful -- and they speak several languages, which can be a help to travelers. They accept cash only. The price is expensive if you are just one person, since you must book the entire room. However, in the winter they are flexible on paying the price for the room and not per person.
