(Sunshine Beach)     "I believe this is one of the best hostels in Australia. Although the hostel is about a five-minute drive away from Noosa Heads, there is a free bus that runs in and out of the transit center with drop-offs in the Junction for a supermarket stop. Plus Dolphins is the closest hostel to Sunshine Beach, which is by far the best beach in Noosa. I found the hostel to be very clean and the staff really friendly and helpful. The way the hostel is laid out is what attracted me to stay. There are six... "Our fave place of all places! Staff are amazing!" … "Very good entertainment. What I should say: the best in town!!! Many greetings to Aimee and Shaun!!!" … "Good bar and there was a bathroom in our dorm which was a super bonus for a backpacker!" … "I stayed here in 2003, and found the facilities to be good. There's a decent-sized bar, a really good pool area, and the dorm rooms are really big in size. It's only about a five-minute walk down the hill to get to Hastings Street,...(Cooroibah)  "Excellent place to make life long friends. I worked there for about 2 months back in 2002, and it was a place to remember!" … Gagaju is on a stretch of the Noosa river tucked away in semi wild bush between Lakes Cooroibah and Cootharaba.

Halse Lodge is a beautiful veranda-encircled building in pristine condition that also inhabits the best location in the lovely town of Noosa, just seconds from the main street, restaurants, and beaches of Noosa Heads, directly across from the bus stop. Look past the other hostels advertising their rooms when you arrive at the bus stop and head straight across the road for Halse Lodge. While a tad more...(Sunrise Beach) "Worst place we have stayed in Australia, kitchens are filthy, and we had to request some washing up liquid, toilet paper, something to wash and dry dishes with (which never arrived). The rooms are large but the bed linen was stained. They offer a 'courtesy bus' to take you into town, which you have to book the day before (which is fair enough!) but easier said than done when the so called manager is never in the office, and they expect you to call them or chase them around next door at costa...
