Tourist's Rest Hostel  "The Tourist's Rest is fairly nice, relaxed hostel. So relaxed in fact, when we arrived it appeared that we were the only people there. It's about a ten-minute walk from the centre on Tennant Creek, within easy access to a supermarket and about twenty-minute walk from the BP Greyhound drop-off. The owner, Tony, is quite happy to pick you up or drop you off at the Greyhound bus point -- and boy, you'll be glad of that. The bus from Darwin arrives at just after two in the morning. So when... Safari Backpackers Hostel "The Safari backpackers YHA is actually made up of two buildings. The hostel is the first building, while the reception and a separate motel are in the other building across the road. The hostel lies in quiet surroundings (like anywhere in Tennant Creek), but there are some basic supplies at the reception. The condition of the hostel as a whole is not bad.
