"Hostel Pioneros del Valle is a brand new hostel in El Chalten, developed by one of the travel companies so that its customers have a place to stay. Interestingly it's also the only hostel in the village with free Wi-Fi. Considering the internet cafes are very expensive and the few bars with Wi-Fi ask for a fee per hour, this is a very good thing indeed. "HI - El Chaltén - Rancho Grande Hostel is one of the busiest hostels in El Chalten -- this is not too surprising since it is also the home of Chalten Travel, who drop off busload after busload of tourists here. "Albergue Patagonia is well situated in El Chalten, right on the main drag. It is easily recognized from the street by its cozy brick red appearance. The atmosphere here is very home-like and relaxed. If you want a loud, party atmosphere with lots of people, this is not the place for you.
