  "America Del Sur is situated a five-minute walk from the town centre and a ten-minute walk from the bus station (where the hostel will pick you up for free). It is situated on the hillside, with great views of the lakes and mountains. It's one of those hostels that is trying to be a home away from home -- these hostels can always be identified by having to take your shoes off before you enter...    "From the bus station, the Calafate Hostel is about a 10-minute walk. It is a bit tricky to find the place, but just remember to walk downhill towards the center of town. A map is definitely helpful and is available from the tourist info booth at the bus station.
Although this hostel is very big, there are enough common areas where you can relax and have space to yourself so it doesn't feel..."HI - Calafate - Hostel del Glaciar Libertador is really a great, comfortable hostel, with a Scandinavian feel as well as modern and warm -- it's really IKEA-like). There are plenty of dorms (maximum four beds) on three floors around an open-air courtyard. The dining area and common room, with lots of wooden furniture in them, are nice places to hang out.

The hostel is... "Hostel Lago Argentino is a place to stay for a couple of nights or for long term. It is not a great place to meet people, even though it has a large common area, since most people spend full days out at the glacier or exploring the national park and return late at night. The walls are sponge painted to give it an alternative atmosphere with pictures and posters of Patagoni hanging on them. The... "Hostel Ahijuna isn't going to win any design awards. It looks like it has been cobbled together with materials bought from a reclamation yard, mismatched tiles and bricks in the bathroom and kitchen and several shades of paint on one wall. It is very functional and not very homey but it is clean and has a very good location.

15 Km... "I just returned from Argentina. This hostel was terrible! They had no record of our reservation. Despite showing them a confirmation email, they shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. We ultimately had to stay in the Superior room for significantly more than we had initially planned on paying.
