San Luis is the capital of the Province of San Luis, in the north-center of Argentina. The population is four hundred thirty thousand inhabitants. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the city is an important industrial center of the country. Tourists can reach the community by car, bus, or plane. Flights from Buenos Aires and Mendoza arrive to the airport of San Luis, which is located a few kilometers from the center of the city. San Luis is a modern city, however, it is possible to see numerous buildings of Spanish-colonial style, resembling the ancient life of the community.

The city is located between the San Luis Hills, at the shore of the Chorrillos River. The climate is temperate. Green spaces with dense vegetation can be found in the Centenario Park and the Park of the Nations, where visitors can take long walks while enjoying the stillness of the place. Close the San Luis City, it is also possible to find lagoons and dams, which are particularly attractive for lovers of sport-fishing and aquatic sports. Thermal springs are also found in proximity to the city.

At seventeen kilometers from San Luis City, the famous touristic village Potrero de los Funes offers tourists an ideal place for a resting time. The village has internationally recognized services for tourists. The village, immersed in the stunning view of the hills, has its own dam for practicing all types of aquatic sports. Trekking, horse-riding, and excursions in the area are organized for the visitors.
