Small World Backpackers Lodge in Harare This hostel felt like home. Oh no, actually, it WAS our home for four months. And we loved every bit of it. Darlington, Precious and Naomi made our stay one to remember.
We even had a farewell "braai" the day before we left. We'll be back, definitely!
Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge in Victoria Falls Great place to stay! Friendly owners and staff. It's within walking distance to town. Clean facilities (kitchen/showers etc.) I felt safe in the area. Lovely bonfire till late at night. Chat and meet other people. We've stayed a week and made all our bookings through Matopa Tours. We received excellent service from the day they picked us up at the airport till the day they dropped us off again. We were there Oct. 24-30, 2004.
Small World Backpackers Lodge in Harare Clean, secure, kind staff, nice guests.
Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge in Victoria Falls This place is good. It is lovely, to tell the truth. I would go there any time of the day. There is so much nature there.
Small World Backpackers Lodge in Harare Very helpful friendly, very near town centre, and the Avondale shopping. Good place and a safe place to stay in Harare.
Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge in Victoria Falls I was very happy with the service and the staff. Very friendly and helpful. You just need a pool table and you would be sorted.
Victoria Falls Backpackers Lodge in Victoria Falls I am not at all happy with the service here, and I think that the staff should be spoken to about their attitude toward their customers. UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!
Small World Backpackers Lodge in Harare We were here in April of 2007. It was pretty pricey for the level of accommodation and we didn't have any hot water for the two days we spent here. Also, because we arrived somewhat late, they couldn't change any money and the kitchen was closed. We were forced to go hungry the first night. If you stay here be sure to arrive early or with enough cash for a meal at a local restaurant. The place was clean enough and the staff was as helpful as they could be given the circumstances. I'd probably check out another place before I stay here again.
Antelope Park & Safari Lodge in Gweru I am so happy to know this place is still operating. I stayed for several days in July of 2001 and found it to be beautiful, relaxing and the staff quite friendly. pura vida
Antelope Park & Safari Lodge in Gweru Antelope Park was fantastic. It's probably the only place to visit in Zimbabwe at the moment. The walk with lions was a dream come true. My ex-wife is there with my son hoping my son will get the opportunity to see the lions. I visited the place in June 2004. All the best, hope to see you soon.
Antelope Park & Safari Lodge in Gweru The campsite is good, the food is good, and the activities are amazing. And the lion cubs are wicked. Walking with them was even better.
Antelope Park & Safari Lodge in Gweru My wife & I, family and friends all enjoyed a fantastic weekend at this park in July 2002. The elephant ride was a wonderful experience as was walking with the lion cubs early in the morning. Anne was like a two year old feeding the cubs and the elephants. The river tents are very comfortable and the food excellent. Zimbabwe is still a great place to visit.
