Brecon … Was there July 10th & 11th. Lovely place would visit again.

The Held Bunkhouse in Brecon … I have been visiting this bunkhouse for the past 14 years, during which it has seen two owners. The current owners are a very friendly, approachable couple and I would have no hesitation in recommending this bunkhouse. An excellent find!
Canolfan Corris Youth Hostel in Brecon … What an amazing place! I participated in a green wood furniture course they just happened to be running during my stay, one of the most empowering things I've ever done! Inspiring place and truly inspiring staff, great food and a cozy log fire. Thanks to all the co-op staff for a wonderful stay!
The Elms (Bikes & Hikes) in Brecon … An excellent hostel - good value, large storage area for bikes, drying room, area for breakfast, tv, near centre of town etc. What more could you want?
Canolfan Corris Youth Hostel in Brecon … As soon as we arrived we were greeted by many friendly people. The students who went liked it so much their third visit is coming up on the 17th of December. I recommend this hostel more then any I have visited. I can't wait to be greeted by the friendly staff once more. The students feel very much at home, and it is very cozy. As Christmas is approaching, they are decorating the hostel for us, in time for our visit.

Beili Barn in Rhayader … This is a lovely bunkhouse (a converted barn) with good facilities and a friendly and helpful owner who lives in the farmhouse next door with some even friendlier dogs! Idyllic setting and good for access to the Elan Valley, hills, cycle routes and reservoirs. It's located about a mile from the town of Rhayader.
Canolfan Corris Youth Hostel in Brecon … I just came back from a stay there and the hostel couldn't fulfill its promises at all. The place was very dirty and not very well looked after. Especially the bedrooms and the mattresses look as if they hadn't been cleaned for years. All in all not a very advisable accommodation.
