BJ Guest House in Ayutthaya Friendly staff, good location. The dormitory is a bit grubby, but it has well maintained mosquito nets.
Bann Kun-Pra Guest House & Restaurant in Ayutthaya This Hostel is not so good. It's in an authentic wooden Thai building near the river, but also on a very busy street. I got a room facing the street and it kept me awake all night long, but that could also have been the bed, which was hard as wood. I asked for another room, but, although there were hardly any other guests (if any) they didn't give me one. The only good thing is that it's near the railway station (take the ferry across the river) and quite central. I recommend you to rent a bicycle to discover the town.
BJ Guest House in Ayutthaya The hostel is typical for the area: open plan with basic rooms with fans for around 60 baht (dorm room). The dorm has four beds and all have decent mosquito nets. The mattresses are very hard though, but this is, again, typical for the area. Expect to wake up early.
It is located centrally
