Jomtien Hostel in Pattaya … We walked in without a booking and received a warm welcome from John who is the manager. We were impressed with the clean and bright decor and layout. Good size rooms and big shower rooms. Efficient air conditioning and comfortable beds. Room safety box. Good cooking and all at good value. We will come back for sure.
Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel in Pattaya … We rate it 5 stars because of the friendly staff and location of this hotel. We have stayed here for 20 years and come back time after time.
Chaiyapoon Inn Hotel in Pattaya … Rooms are spotless. I stayed in a superior room. Beautiful teakwood furniture, granite bathroom -- five Star! Right in the city center so I did not need to use any taxis.
Chaiyapoon Inn Hotel in Pattaya … I stayed here some nights, the staff was very friendly and propose me also a tour to see the pubs of Pattaya. The room was very clean with free Wi-Fi and sat-TV. I'll return here.

Hillside Resort in Pattaya … nice ambiance, swimming pool, free morning tea, walkable from family mart store, nice a/c rooms. it should have free breakfast for backpackers like me.
Mangoes Guesthouse in Sattahip … We visited this hostel last month. The owner is an expatriate who was very strange — he insisted on taking you everywhere and staying with you. He also took it upon himself to order your food, regardless of your tastes or budgets. And he got very forceful and lairy [conceited] after a few beers, although the accommodation is clean I would not recommend people visit here; the owner is very strange and has a habit of insulting people. Plus he has several children working for him whose parents are miles away — that did not seem normal. There are no locks on the accommodation's doors and the hostel is quite far away from any of the sights. Taxis can be expensive.
