HI - STF Uppsala City Hostel/St Persgatan in Uppsala … Hmm, where to begin. Well, for starters, the place is very close to the train station, they're not joking. This is a definite plus! The thing is, you better make sure you have the actual address of the place, because there is almost no indication there's a hostel there -- the door is actually right next to a toy store i think. It can get a little loud outside at night too, as it is right next to a main road, but that's not that big of a deal if you're used to sleeping in dorms. What is a big deal, is the security situation. First off, it is really hard to get into the place; in fact, I'd say out of all the hostels I've stayed in, this one is the Fort Knox of them all. However, once inside, there is almost no security or supervision at all! The weekend we stayed there, there was also a rowdy group of college age guys in their own room.
