Novi Sad Downtown -- it's the worst place where I was! I don't recommend to anyone!
Hostel & Restaurant Bela Ladja in Novi Sad Bela ladja actually has two buildings, one is in Kisacka and the other is in Zlatne Grede. I was in Zlatne Grede. What I liked the most about this hostel is that the receptionist gave us the keys to our room and to the entrance door and said, Come and go whenever you want, like in your own home, just lock the door when you leave. The rooms are quite different, we got one that actually had two levels. There was an air conditioner, but it wasn't working. In Zlatne Grede they don't have a dining room, the breakfast is served in Kisacka (which is quite close). The place is in the walking distance of the city centre (maybe five minutes).
Hostel Sova in Novi Sad One of the best hostels I have stayed in -- the owners are very kind and generous people, and the hostel is well-equipped including free internet, cable TV, large common room with a home-like atmosphere, balcony to relax on, and all in a great location close to the main square.
