Wilson Hall in Ayr … The best part about this place was the staff. The man who checked me in and the one who helped me in the morning were excellent and very helpful. The place itself left something to be desired. It is a university dorm, and obviously so. It is in dire need of some repainting in the rooms and a serious scrub down of the showers. There were lots of rowdy boys downstairs and loads of mosquitoes inside the place. For one night it was fine but I think longer would have been bad. It's too far away from Ayr as well and it was like 1.20 pounds to get into the town by bus! That's more expensive then the same trip in Edinburgh. On another positive note you do get breakfast included, which is cool and useful.
Wilson Hall in Ayr … Wilson Hall is a dorm in the middle of the Scottish Agricultural College campus. The scenery around the campus is beautiful -- mix the secluded locale with the agricultural focus of the college and the result is lovely trails of true Scottish countryside.
