Mleczarnia Hostel in Wroclaw … this place is a godsend for hardened hostelers! The rooms are exquisite -- antique furniture and fittings, and lovely large rooms (only gripe was that we were a little cold as they hadn't switched the heating on yet). A sumptuous treat of a house, with plants dotted round and a nice little kitchen too -- the manageress chattered away to us, and was really friendly. The cafe downstairs is an experience in itself -- Bohemian and atmospheric -- a classic. Hard to believe that this place calls itself a hostel really -- it's a real treat.
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … Beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are top-notch (with funky transparent toilets), all the staff I have come across are great, and there is a decent social area. There are also extensive collections of DVDs and XBox games, and it is a stone's throw away from the train station. I've been to twenty-something countries this year, over eight months: Trust me, this hostel rocks. I will definitely be looking out for The Stranger Hostel brand in the future.
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … I loved this hostel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the price was fantastic. The beds were comfy, everything was very clean, and the other guests were very respectful and friendly -- I got sound, peaceful sleep all three nights I was there. I would absolutely stay there again, especially as it was so convenient to both the train station and the city center. Free breakfasts of cereal and bread, and butter and jam were very appreciated, too!
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … I have stayed in many hostels but this one was amazing! The staff were fantastic, the rooms and facilities were impeccable. Free Internet, free breakfast, washing service and a huge TV with a great range of movies if you felt like staying in. I felt completely at home the moment I walked through the door (at 1 a.m. after our bus from Prague!). It was within a 10-minute walk to the old town, and the bus and train stations were a stone's throw away. Don't let the crabby stairwell to the hostel put you off. There is gold at the end of the rainbow and for me, this was it! I didn't want to leave!
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … In a city without many options, this place is fantastic. Unbeatable location, close to both the station and the city centre. Exceptionally friendly staff, spacious, and well-equipped kitchen with free tea and coffee, movies and X-box for rainy days, cool lounge for meeting other guests. this place has everything the backpacker needs at a reasonable price. The owners are obviously clued-up on what packers need -- they even sell earplugs! Admittedly, guests are welcomed by the urine stench of the sh*tty stairs, but don't let this put you off. This is the only place to stay in Wroclaw!
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … the staff are so friendly and right from the word go -- they gave us all the information we needed. thank god they spoke english as the lingo is hard to pick up in poland. they beat us at foozball a lot, but we let them. it's like a ten-minute walk into town, good location.
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … This place is brand spanking new so it still felt a little incomplete. The Ju Ju Lounge was lacking in cushions (it was essentially just a wooden frame) and one of the windows had no curtain. However, this place has massive potential to be fantastic. The bathrooms are brilliant, the free movies a great touch and the entire place is spotless. Do not hesitate to stay here. You will not be disappointed.
Cinnamon Hostel in Wroclaw … I turned up at Cinnamon at 9:30 p.m. without a reservation. But, being April, the place was pretty quiet. I was in Basil, an eight-bed dorm. The room isn't cramped but you are in bunks. The kitchen was good enough. Breakfast was standard Polish hostel fair, cheap corn flakes, bread (four Polish hostels I've stayed in so far and only one has had a toaster -- must be a Polish thing), jams, and butter. The common room is big and I spent a fair amount of time spread out on one of the couches reading a book. The computer is good and is often streaming internet radio which is good. Bathrooms are decent. Location is good. A good, modern-style hostel with friendly staff.
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw was in a great location -- practically just across the road from the train station. A short walk from all the city centre attractions too. The rooms are large and there's plenty of room for your gear. There's a new kitchen and two new bathrooms also. The staff are very friendly and give you a map and tips of where to go and what to see. A great hostel for location, seeing the sights, chilling out in the lounge, catching up on emails (there's a free internet computer). Simple free breakfast too, and tea and coffee twenty-four hours. I would stay here again.
Dizzy Daisy Hostel Wroclaw - Gornickiego in Wroclaw … Great for somewhere to stay near the city centre. The tram stops at the end of the road. It has clean showers and rooms. They have good advice on travelling about the city too, specially for a foreigner.
The Stranger Hostel Wroclaw in Wroclaw … The inside of the hostel is very nice and the staff friendly. However, unless you are in a group, I suggest you don't stay. It is located on the 3rd floor of a very run down building. The stairs have no light and you have the distinct feel of entering a crack house.
Dizzy Daisy Hostel Wroclaw - Reja Street in Wroclaw … We were met by the Dizzy Daisy staff at the train station and they were very friendly. We wondered why they were providing us a lift to the "close to the city centre" hostel, and soon found out that their definition of "close" was not ours. It took us 30min to walk in to the city centre. Once we were at the hostel and had paid, they were quite rude and unhelpful. We were told conflicting information on which tram to catch... as you can tell, I was NOT impressed by this hostel.
