Orange Hostel - Old Town Torun in Torun … after a few weeks (even months) on the road, a hostel like this amazing! Laundry no problem, great location, and amazing, helpful staff. Visit Torun, if only to stay here.
Orange Hostel - Old Town Torun in Torun … I stayed one night in Orange Hostel and then decided to leave. We had to hunt for a member of a staff in order to even check in. Later that evening I go to brush my teeth and, on returning, notice a large (permanent) stain on my sweater that smelled of chlorine. They had obviously not bothered to rinse the basin after bleaching it. Lucky it didn't touch my skin! The following morning, we were woken up by noisy building work just outside our window (needless to say, their website doesn't mention this, nor did they mention when we phoned them in advance). Note that the "kitchen" is just a corner of the reception area (with only one hob), and the "common room" is a sofa in the same room. Also, beware that some rooms have no windows!
