HI - Lillehammer Hostel Skysstasjonen in Lillehammer … Very helpful and friendly management and staff, very quiet (especially in winter), clean, tidy, as much food as you can eat, cheap for Norway, and right on top of the local transport — I definitely recommend it.

Clean, comfy, and most accommodating with a friendly, helpful, happy staff willing to go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Centrally located, the view from the window on the bus side is of the town and is very lovely all hours of the day. The view from the other side is above the train station and tracks overlooking the hillside and lake, very gorgeous. Breakfasts were hearty and wholesome. Free internet downstairs. Fluffy pillows and comforters provided. Splendid shower and bathroom, better than any hotel! This is the best place especially considering the minimal cost! Excellent!
