Jo & Andy's Bed & Breakfast in Stewart Island This hostel has very special hosts, extremely friendly people and a dream of a library. It's very recommendable. Andy does certificated massage, which is also highly recommendable.
Ann's Place in Stewart Island It's a bit of a walk from Oban's "center" — one of the best backpackers I stayed in. The backpacker is actually Ann's old house, with semi-bizarre nooks to sleep in, including a private "cellar" under the house. Shared facilities, great garden and atmosphere.
Jo & Andy's Bed & Breakfast in Stewart Island Like being a guest in a friend's house. Stewart Island has a strong feeling of the past and Jo and Andy's reflects that. Crochet rugs on the bed, books floor to ceiling, wood stove. The beds were comfy, breakfast huge, and conversation interesting!
